S-01Shape-controlled nanocrystalsGold, copper and perovskite nanocrystals grown to precise shapes for light harvesting.
S-02Two-dimensional materialsAtom-thin oxides and chalcogenides that move ions and electrons in new ways.
S-03Watching nanocrystals growLiquid-cell electron microscopy that films nucleation and growth as it happens.
S-04NanocatalysisSingle-atom and nanoparticle catalysts that turn carbon dioxide into fuels.
We are chemists, physicists and microscopists who design materials one atomic layer at a time. Our nanocrystals and 2D materials harvest light, speed up reactions and carry signals in tomorrow’s devices.
We build our own in-situ electron microscopy tools, and every dataset we publish is open.
We’re recruiting
PhD positions in nanocrystal synthesis · Postdoctoral researcher: in-situ electron microscopy · Summer research internships
