Iron pincer catalysts for ester hydrogenation
Cited by 3
Abstract
Hydrogenating esters to alcohols usually needs ruthenium or high pressures. We report iron pincer complexes that do it at 25 bar and 60 °C with turnover numbers above 10,000, and show by crystallography how the ligand carries the hydrogen.
